However, if you experience these side effects for a longer duration or any other symptoms which you think may be due to this medicine, please inform your doctor. It is not advised to drive after administration of this injection as you may feel sleepy or dizzy and your alertness may be reduced.

Wet age-related macular degeneration
In Wet age-related macular degeneration Macula is the part of the retina responsible for central vision. Wet age-related macular degeneration is an eye disorder that causes blurred vision or a blind spot in your visual field due to abnormal blood vessels that leak fluid or blood into the macula. This leads to vision problems. Macugen 0.3mg Infusion helps prevent leakage of such abnormal blood vessels and therefore prevents vision loss. It is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse and should not be self-administered.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. Macugen 0.3mg Infusion is an anti-angiogenic medication. It works by blocking a protein called vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). This stops the growth and leakage of abnormal blood vessels in the eye(s) that may cause vision loss.
Alcohol

Pregnancy
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Macugen 0.3mg Infusion is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Breast feeding
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Macugen 0.3mg Infusion is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Driving
UNSAFE - Macugen 0.3mg Infusion may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney

Liver
