In Treatment of Bacterial infections Megapen Kid Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics, Ampicillin and Cloxacillin. These antibiotics work by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Together, they treat your infection effectively. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

Megapen Kid Tablet contains two active ingredients: Ampicillin and Cloxacillin. CAUTION - Megapen Kid Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Megapen Kid Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is advised while taking this medicine.

Liver

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Megapen Kid Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Megapen Kid Tablet is recommended.
