It works by killing and stopping the further growth of the worms causing the infection. This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all the worms are killed and do not become resistant.

Megmabend Plus 6mg/400mg Tablet is a combination of two antiparasitic medicines: Ivermectin and Albendazole. Ivermectin works by binding to muscle and nerve cells of worms causing their paralysis and death. Albendazole works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), so that they lose energy and die. This treats your infection effectively.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Megmabend Plus 6mg/400mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Megmabend Plus 6mg/400mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION - Megmabend Plus 6mg/400mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Megmabend Plus 6mg/400mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Inform your doctor if you develop signs of jaundice like yellowing of eyes and skin, itching, and clay colored stools while taking this medicine.
