In Opioid dependence Opioids are prescribed to treat pain. With prolonged use, the body may become dependent on them and cause withdrawal symptoms, which makes it difficult to stop taking them. Naltreat Tablet helps prevent these cravings that lead to opioid dependence and also helps the person to refrain from taking them repeatedly. In Alcohol addiction Naltreat Tablet is a medicine used, along with social support and counseling, to help people recover from alcohol addiction and to avoid having the urge to drink alcohol again. Naltreat Tablet starts working from the very first dose and is a very safe and effective way of treating alcohol addiction.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Muscle pain, Headache, Vomiting, Weakness, Nausea, Abdominal pain, Anxiety, Nervousness, Restlessness, Sleep disorder']

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Naltreat Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Naltreat Tablet is an opioid antagonist. It works by blocking the euphoric feelings (highs) that you may experience after taking opiates and alcohol. This reduces craving and helps you remain off of them.

Driving

UNSAFE - Naltreat Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Naltreat Tablet may make you feel tired or dizzy. This may affect your driving ability.

Kidney

CAUTION - Naltreat Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Naltreat Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION - Naltreat Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Naltreat Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Regular monitoring of liver function tests is advisable while you are taking this medicine.
