Neph-M Eye Drop is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of allergic diseases of the eye. It relieves irritation, redness, and swelling of the eye and provides temporary relief from burning, discomfort, and other related symptoms. Neph-M Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Read the label carefully for instruction before you use the medicine. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Use of this medicine may cause burning sensation, stinging, and irritation at the application site. These are usually temporary and resolve with time. How it works
Neph-M Eye Drop is a combination of four medicines. Naphazoline is a decongestant that works by narrowing the blood vessels in the eye. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricant. It works similar to natural tears and provides temporary relief from burning, also moisten the eyes. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic. It blocks the chemical messenger which causes itching and other allergic symptoms. Boric Acid has antibiotic properties that kill infection-causing microorganisms. It also relieves eye irritation. In this way, it treats allergic eye disease.
