Nesdrox 500mg Capsule is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.
SAFE - Consuming alcohol with Nesdrox 500mg Capsule does not cause any harmful side effects.
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Nesdrox 500mg Capsule is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Nesdrox 500mg Capsule is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. Avoid prolonged use of Nesdrox 500mg Capsule, since it may have possible effects such as rash and diarrhea.
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - It is not known whether Nesdrox 500mg Capsule alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
CAUTION - Nesdrox 500mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nesdrox 500mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Nesdrox 500mg Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Nesdrox 500mg Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
What if I forget to take it?
If you miss a dose of Nesdrox 500mg Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
