In Dysentery Dysentery or amoebic dysentery is a parasitic infection of the intestines that occurs mostly due to intake of contaminated food or water. The symptoms include loose stools (diarrhea), stomach cramps and stomach pain. Nitazet O Tablet helps to treat this infection by killing the infection causing parasites. It relieves these symptoms and also helps you to stay well by preventing them from coming back. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it and you should drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nitazet O Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Nitazet O Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Nitazoxanide and Ofloxacin. Nitazoxanide is an antiparasitic. It works by interfering with the energy metabolism of parasites, which ultimately causes their death. Ofloxacin kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

UNSAFE - Nitazet O Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
CAUTION - Nitazet O Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nitazet O Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Nitazet O Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
