Nitroglycerin 15mg
Nitrotap Applicap is a medicine used for relieving the pain associated with anal fissures (tear in the lining of the anus). It works by relaxing and widening blood vessels so blood can flow more easily. This improves blood flow and reduces the pressure in anal tissues. Nitrotap Applicap promotes healing of fissures and provides pain relief. It is for external use only. It is advised to use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area and gently apply it over the affected area. This medicine is generally well tolerated with minimal or no side effects. However, slight anal irritation may occur as a side effect of this medicine. This is temporary and usually resolves on its own in some time. Please consult your doctor if it does not resolve or persists for a longer duration. Do not use Nitrotap Applicap if you are taking medicines to treat high blood pressure in your lungs (pulmonary hypertension), or erectile dysfunction; or if you have anemia or glaucoma (increased pressure inside the eye). Always tell your doctor what other health conditions you have and what other medicines you are taking. It is best not to drink alcohol with this medicine as it increases some of the side effects. If you are affected by dizziness, avoid driving. If you are pregnant, thinking about becoming pregnant, or breastfeeding, ask your doctor before taking this medicine.

Treatment of Angina (heart-related chest pain)
In Treatment of Angina (heart-related chest pain) Nitrotap Applicap helps in prevention as well as treatment of angina. Angina is a chest pain that is usually caused by narrowing of the blood vessels which supply your heart. This means your heart does not get enough oxygen. Nitrotap Applicap works quickly to relax the muscles and blood vessels in your heart so more blood (and oxygen) gets to your heart. This reduces the pain and discomfort that angina causes. You should take this medicine at the first sign of chest pain. If the first tablet does not work, you can take a second tablet after 5 minutes. However, if your chest pain does not go away after 15 minutes, you should get urgent medical attention. This could be a sign of a heart attack. Nitrotap Applicap also helps prevent chest pain if taken before exercising or doing other strenuous activities.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Blurred vision, Decreased blood pressure, Dizziness, Headache, Increased heart rate, Lightheadedness, Paresthesia (tingling or pricking sensation)']
Take the medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Wipe the tip of the aplicap and cut the end with a clean instrument. Compress the body to squeeze out the contents and apply it to the affected area.
Nitrotap Applicap is a nitrate which is absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream. Once absorbed, it relaxes the blood vessels thereby increasing the blood flow and reducing the pressure in the anal tissues.
