Noristerat 200mg Injection is used for contraception (for preventing pregnancy). You must only take it if advised by your doctor. Fertility does return once the medicine is stopped, but the time varies for each woman. Noristerat 200mg Injection is administered only by or under the supervision of doctor. It should be taken as your doctor advice. Your doctor will decide how much you need to take and for how much time. You should take this injection for as long as it is prescribed for you. Common side effects of this medicine include injection site reactions (pain, swelling, redness), headache, nausea, weight gain, dizziness, and vaginal/uterine bleeding. Most of these are temporary and go away as soon as the body adjusts to the treatment. If any of these bothers you, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. It may also cause your menstrual bleeds to stop. Inform your doctor if you get heavy or prolonged bleeding. Before taking Noristerat 200mg Injection, you should let your doctor know if you ever had any problem like unusual vaginal bleeding, or have a history of blood clots, stroke, heart attack, liver problems, or bleeding problems. You should also inform the doctor about all other medicines that you are taking. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not take this medicine.
