Nuva Ring Device should be used as directed by your doctor. Insert it into the vagina for three weeks, then remove for one week. A new ring should be inserted one week after the last one is removed.

What to do if Nuva Ring Device is accidentally removed?

If Nuva Ring Device is outside the vagina for less than 3 hours, rinse it with cool to lukewarm water and reinsert it. If it's out for more than 3 hours, reinsert it as soon as possible. During weeks 1 and 2, use a barrier method for 7 days. Consult your doctor if it's out during week 3.
