Optihist Plus Eye Drop is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of allergic eye diseases. Optihist Plus Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Directions for Use

How it works
Optihist Plus Eye Drop is a combination of four medicines: Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Sodium Chloride, Boric Acid and Tetrahydrozoline which relieve eye itching/discomfort caused by allergies. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy, teary eyes. Sodium chloride is a purified salt solution which works by drawing out water from swollen cornea. Boric acid is an antiseptic which treats bacterial infection in the eyes and relieves irritation. Tetrahydrozoline is a decongestant which narrows the blood vessels of the eye to relieve inflammation (redness and swelling).
