Osra MR Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of abdominal cramps. It relaxes the muscles in the stomach or intestine and stops sudden muscle contractions, thereby relieving cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Osra MR Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. Take it in the dose and duration as directed by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer duration than recommended by the doctor. The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, indigestion, loss of appetite, sleepiness, weakness, and dryness in mouth. If any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing them. Before taking it, you should let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions or disorders. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking to make sure it is safe for you. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before starting treatment.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. How it works

Osra MR Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Mefenamic acid and Tizanidine which relieve abdominal pain. Mefenamic acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant which works by acting on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve the muscle stiffness or spasm.

Use of Osra MR Tablet is not advised in patients with severe liver disease. Liver function tests are recommended before the start of treatment and then on a regular basis as advised.

What If You Forget to take Osra MR Tablet 10s?

If a dose of Osra MR Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
