It will help you carry out your daily activities more easily. This medicine is safe and effective. Otus XP Expectorant usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours. Take it as prescribed by the doctor. Do not stop using it unless you are advised to by your doctor.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Sleepiness, Drowsiness, Loss of appetite, Nausea']

Otus XP Expectorant is an antiallergic medication. When your body is exposed to an allergen (pollen, animal dander, house dust etc.), it produces a chemical called histamine. This causes watery eyes, runny or blocked nose, sneezing, skin rashes, itching etc. Otus XP Expectorant works by blocking the action of histamine, thereby relieving these symptoms.

Pregnancy

Breast feeding

Driving

UNSAFE - Otus XP Expectorant may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Otus XP Expectorant is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Otus XP Expectorant may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

UNSAFE - Otus XP Expectorant is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Otus XP Expectorant, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
