Premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
In Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) Pamaspas Tablet may help reduce PMS symptoms such as mood swings, anxiousness, tiredness, bloating, breast tenderness and headaches. Also, it effectively relieves sudden muscle spasms or contractions in the stomach and intestine (gut), thereby relaxing the muscles and improving movement of food. This helps to treat abdominal pain (or stomach pain) as well as cramps, bloating and discomfort. Lifestyle changes such as regular exercise, a healthy diet, getting plenty of sleep, and using relaxation techniques may also be helpful.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Dryness in mouth, Sleepiness, Weakness, Nervousness, Blurred vision, Dark colored urine']
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pamaspas Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Pamaspas Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Paracetamol, Pamabrom and Dicyclomine. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes pain. Pamabrom is a diuretic which increases urine production to remove excess water from the body and relieve premenstrual symptoms like bloating, water-weight gain, swelling and the feeling of being full. Dicyclomine is an anti-cholinergic which relaxes the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine) and stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). By doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort.
