Heavy menstrual bleeding

In Heavy menstrual bleeding Pause-XT Tablet helps normal blood clotting, which reduces the bleeding during menstruation or after a surgery. It helps to prevent excessive loss of blood, stops bleeding and enhances the healing process. This helps prevent complications of excessive bleeding such as hemorrhage. If heavy periods become such a problem that they interfere with your everyday life, then try taking things a little easier on those days. Some women find that relaxation techniques or yoga help them feel more relaxed and reduce stress. Getting a lot of exercise can also help.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pause-XT Tablet is to be taken with food.

Pause-XT Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Tranexamic Acid, Tribasic Calcium Phosphate, Menadione and Citrus Bioflavonoid which reduce excessive bleeding. Tranexamic Acid is an anti-fibrinolytic medicine. It works by helping blood clot normally to reduce bleeding during periods, or after surgery. Tribasic Calcium Phosphate and Citrus Bioflavonoid provide essential nutrients. Menadione is a blood clotting vitamin which controls excessive bleeding.

Alcohol

CAUTION - Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Pause-XT Tablet. Please consult your doctor.

Pregnancy

UNSAFE - Pause-XT Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Pause-XT Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - It is not known whether Pause-XT Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Pause-XT Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Pause-XT Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Pause-XT Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Pause-XT Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Pause-XT Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
