It also relieves pain, itching, discomfort, and irritation. Polynase D Eye Drop is strictly advised to be used only in the eyes. Use it in the prescribed dose and duration. Apply it only to the affected eyes. You must wash your hand before administering the medicine. Do not use it more than the recommended dose. The medicine should not be stopped suddenly without a doctor's consultation. It is generally safe, but it may sometimes cause discomfort, irritation, and burning sensation in the eyes. These effects are mild and go away in some time. However, if these effects persist, you should consult the doctor immediately.

How it works

Polynase D Eye Drop is a combination of two antibiotics (Chloramphenicol, Polymyxin B) and a steroid (Dexamethasone). The antibiotics work by killing the bacteria or stopping their growth. Together, they treat your eye infection effectively. The steroid blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy.
