Keep taking this medicine even if you feel well. Stopping suddenly can cause serious problems. In Treatment of Anxiety disorder Proline 2mg Tablet helps relieve symptoms of many anxiety disorders including obsessive-compulsive disorder and generalised anxiety disorder by increasing the level of a chemical called GABA in your brain. This prevents abnormal symptoms of anxiety such as restlessness, tiredness, difficulty concentrating, feeling irritable and sleep problems. It helps you feel calm with a better ability to deal with problems. Exercise and a healthy diet can also improve your mood. Keep taking the medicine until your doctor advises you to stop.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Proline 2mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Alcohol

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Proline 2mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Proline 2mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Proline 2mg Tablet should be used for short periods and sleepiness of the baby should be watched. The withdrawal of Proline 2mg Tablet should be gradual.

Driving

UNSAFE - Proline 2mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

CAUTION - Proline 2mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Proline 2mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.

Liver

CAUTION - Proline 2mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Proline 2mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Proline 2mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
