How Regpime S Injection works Regpime S 1000mg/500mg Injection is a combination of two medicines: Cefepime and Sulbactam. Cefepime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate cefepime. Addition of Sulbactam reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefepime against bacteria.

Alcohol

Not Safe: Consuming alcohol with Regpime S 1000mg/500mg Injection may lead to excessive drowsiness.

Pregnancy

Regpime S 1000mg/500mg Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Breast feeding

Regpime S 1000mg/500mg Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

Driving

Regpime S 1000mg/500mg Injection may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Regpime S 1000mg/500mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Regpime S 1000mg/500mg Injection may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver
