Ceftriaxone works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Sulbactam reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Ceftriaxone against bacteria. Rodaxone S 1000mg/500mg Injection can be used to treat many different bacterial infections such as ear, sinus, throat, lung, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

Pregnancy

Liver

Caution Advised: Rodaxone S 1000mg/500mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Rodaxone S 1000mg/500mg Injection may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Dose adjustment of Rodaxone S 1000mg/500mg Injection is not recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.

Stop taking Rodaxone S 1000mg/500mg Injection and inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking it.
