Piles

In Piles Ruticool Cream helps reduce pain associated with piles (hemorrhoids) by producing a feeling of numbness at the site of application. It also gives relief from swelling, itching and irritation caused due to piles. Apply Ruticool Cream 2-3 times a day after cleaning and drying the affected area properly. Consult your doctor if you do not see any improvement even after a week. Make sure to avoid spicy, oil-rich food and drink plenty of water and a fiber rich diet for a speedy recovery as well as to prevent piles in future.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.

Ruticool Cream is a combination of five medicines: Lidocaine, Hydrocortisone, Phenylephrine, Zinc Oxide, and Calcium Dobesilate. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic which works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain thereby decreasing the sensation of pain. Hydrocortisone is a steroid which reduces redness, itching, and swelling due to piles/hemorrhoids. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that shrinks the swollen blood vessels to further relieve itching and irritation caused by piles/hemorrhoids. Zinc Oxide has astringent and antiseptic action. Calcium Dobesilate is a vasoprotective medicine which works on the walls of the small blood vessels and reduces their leakage and fragility. It also improves blood flow by decreasing viscosity/thickness of blood, thereby relieving inflammation (redness and swelling) in piles/hemorrhoids and promoting healing.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Ruticool Cream may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Ruticool Cream is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Ruticool Cream is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Ruticool Cream may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver
