General Anaesthesia

In General Anaesthesia Sevorane Inhaler is a general anesthetic. It is used to induce a reversible loss of sensation and consciousness during major surgeries in a hospital setting by a specialized doctor known as an anesthetist. It is generally very safe, works quite quickly, and will allow carrying out of the procedure without causing pain and distress.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. Check the label for directions before use. Shake the inhaler. While you are breathing in from mouth, press down on the inhaler one time to release the medication and hold your breath for 10 seconds. Repeat until you have inhaled the number of puffs as suggested by the doctor.Afterwards, rinse your mouth thoroughly with water and spit it out.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Sevorane Inhaler.

Pregnancy

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Sevorane Inhaler is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Sevorane Inhaler is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
