Shanchol Oral Vaccine helps prevent cholera. It can be given to anyone above the age of 1 year orally. Two doses are given at an interval of at least two weeks. This vaccine is a powder that is mixed with water before you take it. You will receive this mixture in a clinic or other healthcare setting.
