Aluminium hydroxide and magnesium trisilicate are inorganic salts that neutralises the excess acid in stomach. Milk of magnesia is a laxative that works by drawing water into the intestine through osmosis, making the stools soft and easier to pass. Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
