In Psoriasis Psoriasis is a skin problem in which skin cells build up and form scales and dry patches which are itchy and painful. They can grow anywhere, but most appear on the scalp, elbows, knees, and lower back. Applying Sorvate C Ointment helps manage psoriasis symptoms like itching, pain, redness, swelling or irritation. Clean and dry the affected area before applying Sorvate C Ointment. Use it atleast 2-3 times a day or as prescribed. You may see change in your skin appearance after few weeks.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Rash']

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and gently massage the ointment.

Sorvate C Ointment is a combination of two medicines: Calcitriol and Clobetasol which treat psoriasis. Calcitriol is a form of vitamin D. It works by reducing the overproduction of skin cells that may build up and form scales on the skin. Clobetasol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Sorvate C Ointment may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Sorvate C Ointment is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

If you miss a dose of Sorvate C Ointment, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
