Usually, it is used along with other medicines for management of your condition. Continue taking it for as long as the doctor may advise you to. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it. Take a fiber-rich diet, avoid oily or spicy food and drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated. In Bloating Bloating refers to excessive buildup of gas in our stomach due to abnormal muscle movement in our stomach and intestines. Sucrafil DS Oral Suspension improves the movement of food in the stomach and helps prevent bloating. You should take it exactly as it is prescribed for it to be effective. Some simple lifestyle changes can help stop or reduce bloating. Eat healthy, avoid spicy or oily food, exercise daily for at least 30 minutes and do not overeat.

Sucrafil DS Oral Suspension is a combination of three medicines: Sucralfate, domperidone and simethicone. Sucralfate is an ulcer medication which covers the damaged ulcer tissue in the stomach and protects it against acid or injury to facilitate healing. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Sucrafil DS Oral Suspension may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Sucrafil DS Oral Suspension is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

UNSAFE - Sucrafil DS Oral Suspension may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

CAUTION - Sucrafil DS Oral Suspension should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Sucrafil DS Oral Suspension may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION - Sucrafil DS Oral Suspension should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Sucrafil DS Oral Suspension may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Sucrafil DS Oral Suspension is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.

If you miss a dose of Sucrafil DS Oral Suspension, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
