Pain due to muscle spasm

In Pain due to muscle spasm Syndol MR Tablet treats pain due to muscle spasm by relaxing stiff muscles. It also reduces swelling in the muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement and reduces discomfort. Syndol MR Tablet works quickly, usually within a few hours and the maximum benefit can take 2 to 4 weeks or sometimes longer to show. Take it as prescribed. Once you see some improvement, you can start doing therapy exercises (such as walking or breathing exercises) that will help you get your strength back more quickly.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Vomiting, Heartburn, Stomach pain/epigastric pain, Diarrhea, Loss of appetite, Dizziness, Weakness, Sleepiness']

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Syndol MR Tablet is to be taken with food.

Syndol MR Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Eperisone and Diclofenac, which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. Eperisone is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Syndol MR Tablet.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Syndol MR Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Information regarding the use of Syndol MR Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor.

Driving

UNSAFE - Syndol MR Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Syndol MR Tablet may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

CAUTION - Syndol MR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Syndol MR Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION - Syndol MR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Syndol MR Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Regular monitoring of liver function tests is recommended in patients with liver disease if this medicine is to be taken for a long time.

If you miss a dose of Syndol MR Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
