You should take it regularly as prescribed for this medicine to be most effective, even if you feel better.

How Telsartan-LNC Tablet works Telsartan-LNC 6.25 Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Telmisartan, Cilnidipine and Chlorthalidone. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Telsartan-LNC 6.25 Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Telsartan-LNC 6.25 Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Driving

Liver

If a dose of Telsartan-LNC 6.25 Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position. Telsartan-LNC 6.25 Tablet may cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids and inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst, muscle weakness or very dry mouth. Use of Telsartan-LNC 6.25 Tablet during pregnancy or breastfeeding is unsafe.
