In Brain tumor Brain tumor is an abnormal mass or collection of cells that may be cancerous (malignant) or non-cancerous (benign). Temoglan Infusion kills or stops the growth of cancer cells and also prevents the multiplication of cancer cells. It is a potent and very toxic medicine and you should discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. You should avoid drinking alcohol while having this treatment and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them. Temoglan Infusion is an anti-cancer medication. It enters the brain tissues and works by damaging the genetic material (DNA and RNA) of the cancer cells. This stops their growth and multiplication.

Alcohol

Consult your Doctor: Please consult your doctor regarding the safety of consuming alcohol with Temoglan Infusion . Experts have not found evidence of alcohol impairing the effectiveness of the medicine.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Temoglan Infusion is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Not Safe: Temoglan Infusion is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.

Driving

Not Safe: Temoglan Infusion may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Temoglan Infusion is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Temoglan Infusion may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised. Cautious use is advised in patients with severe kidney disease while they are taking Temoglan Infusion.

Liver

Caution Advised: Temoglan Infusion should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Temoglan Infusion may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Limited information is available on the use of Temoglan Infusion in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.

If a dose of Temoglan Infusion is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Temoglan Infusion is given as an injection into the vein under the supervision of a doctor only. Do not skip any dose and complete the course as suggested by your doctor. Use an effective method of birth control to avoid pregnancy while taking this medication. It increases your risk of bleeding. Be careful while shaving, cutting fingernails or toenails, or using sharp objects. Your doctor may get regular blood tests done to monitor your blood cell count and liver function. Inform your doctor if you experience severe skin rash, fever, chills, headache and shortness of breath during the treatment.
