In Brain tumor Brain tumor is an abnormal mass or collection of cells that may be cancerous (malignant) or non-cancerous (benign). Temozad 250 Tablet kills or stops the growth of cancer cells and also prevents the multiplication of cancer cells. It is a potent and very toxic medicine and you should discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. You should avoid drinking alcohol while having this treatment and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Temozad 250 Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
How it works
Temozad 250 Tablet is an anti-cancer medication. It enters the brain tissues and works by damaging the genetic material (DNA and RNA) of the cancer cells. This stops their growth and multiplication.
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Temozad 250 Tablet. Please consult your doctor.
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Temozad 250 Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
UNSAFE - Temozad 250 Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.
UNSAFE - Temozad 250 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Temozad 250 Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Temozad 250 Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Cautious use is advised in patients with severe kidney disease while they are taking Temozad 250 Tablet.
CAUTION - Temozad 250 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Temozad 250 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Limited information is available on the use of Temozad 250 Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
What if I forget to take it?
If you miss a dose of Temozad 250 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
