In Hypertension (high blood pressure) Terapress 1 Tablet works by relaxing your blood vessels and making it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body. This lowers blood pressure. If your blood pressure is controlled, you are less at risk of having a heart attack, stroke, or kidney problems. The medicine must be taken regularly as prescribed to be effective. You may not feel the immediate benefit after taking the medicine, however, it works in the long term to keep you well.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Terapress 1 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Terapress 1 Tablet is an alpha-blocker. It lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels. It also relaxes the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate, which makes it easier to urinate.

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Terapress 1 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
UNSAFE - Terapress 1 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Terapress 1 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Terapress 1 Tablet is recommended.
CAUTION - Terapress 1 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Terapress 1 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Terapress 1 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
If you miss a dose of Terapress 1 Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
