In Pain due to muscle spasm Thiossil Plus 325mg/4mg Tablet is a combination of a pain reliever and a muscle relaxant. It treats pain due to muscle spasm by relaxing stiff muscles. This in turn reduces discomfort and helps in easy movement. Thiossil Plus 325mg/4mg Tablet works by blocking chemicals in our brain that are responsible for pain sensation and swelling in the muscles. By reducing pain, it improves the quality of your life. Thiossil Plus 325mg/4mg Tablet also helps reduce fever associated with muscular pain.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Thiossil Plus 325mg/4mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Thiossil Plus 325mg/4mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Paracetamol and Thiocolchicoside, which relieves pain and relax the muscles. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works by acting on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve the muscle stiffness or spasm.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Thiossil Plus 325mg/4mg Tablet.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Thiossil Plus 325mg/4mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

Driving

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - It is not known whether Thiossil Plus 325mg/4mg Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney

CAUTION - Thiossil Plus 325mg/4mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Thiossil Plus 325mg/4mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION - Thiossil Plus 325mg/4mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Thiossil Plus 325mg/4mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. However, the use of Thiossil Plus 325mg/4mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If you miss a dose of Thiossil Plus 325mg/4mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
