Alcohol

UNSAFE - Consuming alcohol while taking Tinidin Infusion may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Tinidin Infusion may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

CAUTION - Tinidin Infusion should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body. If a single dose of Tinidin Infusion is used, it is recommended to hold breastfeeding for 12-24 hours to allow the removal of the drug.

Driving

UNSAFE - Tinidin Infusion may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Tinidin Infusion may make you feel drowsy or gives you problems with coordination or sensation (e.g. numbness or weakness). This may affect your driving ability.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Tinidin Infusion is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Tinidin Infusion is recommended.

Liver

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Tinidin Infusion is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Tinidin Infusion may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Tinidin Infusion, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
