Tredaptive 20mg/1000mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines used for reducing high triglycerides and cholesterol levels. It increases good cholesterol (HDL) and decreases the bad cholesterol (LDL) in the body. Tredaptive 20mg/1000mg Tablet can be taken with food. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on what you are being treated for. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. Lifestyle changes like low-fat diet, exercise and not smoking may help this medicine work better. Stomach upset, tingling sensation of extremity, and flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk) are some common side effects of this medicine. How it works

Tredaptive 20mg/1000mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Laropiprant and Vitamin B3(Nicotinic Acid). Vitamin B3(Nicotinic Acid) works by raising the level of "good cholesterol" (HDL) in the body. However, it may widen the blood vessels causing flushing (redness and warmth) of the skin. Laropiprant is added to prevent the release of chemicals that cause flushing.
