Pain due to muscle spasm

In Pain due to muscle spasm Tromed-MR Tablet treats pain due to muscle spasm by relaxing stiff muscles. It also reduces swelling in the muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement and reduces discomfort. Tromed-MR Tablet works quickly, usually within a few hours and the maximum benefit can take 2 to 4 weeks or sometimes longer. Take it as prescribed. Once you see some improvement, you can start doing therapy exercises (such as walking or breathing exercises) that will help you get your strength back more quickly.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tromed-MR Tablet is to be taken with food.

Tromed-MR Tablet is a combination of three medicines: chlorzoxazone, diclofenac and tramadol which relieves pain and relax the muscles. Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by preventing the formation of chemicals responsible for pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Tramadol is an opioid analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Tromed-MR Tablet.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Tromed-MR Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

Driving

UNSAFE - Tromed-MR Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

CAUTION - Tromed-MR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Tromed-MR Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION - Tromed-MR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tromed-MR Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Tromed-MR Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
