In Treatment of Severe acute pain Tromol-D Tablet effectively relieves sudden pain that is severe and bothersome. It helps treat muscle spasms or contractions in the stomach and intestine (gut), thereby relaxing the muscles and improving movement of food. It also blocks chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain sensation. This helps to treat abdominal pain (or stomach pain) as well as cramps, bloating and discomfort. Take Tromol-D Tablet as prescribed to get maximum benefit. Eventually, it will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a more active and better quality of life.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Vomiting, Constipation, Dryness in mouth, Sleepiness, Weakness, Nervousness, Blurred vision']

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tromol-D Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Tromol-D Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Dicyclomine, Paracetamol and Tramadol. Dicyclomine is an anti-cholinergic which relaxes the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine) and stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). By doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain. Tramadol is an opioid analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Tromol-D Tablet.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Tromol-D Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Tromol-D Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving

UNSAFE - Tromol-D Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Tromol-D Tablet may cause side effects such as drowsiness and blurred vision. If this happens, do not drive.

Kidney

CAUTION - Tromol-D Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Tromol-D Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION - Tromol-D Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tromol-D Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Tromol-D Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
