It is used by an eye specialist and should not be self-administered. In Uveitis The middle layer in the inner wall of the eye is called uvea and any inflammation in this layer is called uveitis. This may cause sudden noticeable symptoms such as pain, redness, blurred vision, swelling etc. It may even occur after an eye procedure of surgery such as cataract surgery. Tropicacyl Eye Drop helps relieve these symptoms and improves the eye health. It should be used as advised by the doctor to get the most benefit.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

Tropicacyl Eye Drop is used to dilate or enlarge the pupil of the eye so that the doctor can examine the back of the eyeball. It may also be used to reduce pain in certain eye conditions.

Pregnancy

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Tropicacyl Eye Drop is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. To reduce the amount of Tropicacyl Eye Drop that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.

Driving

UNSAFE - Tropicacyl Eye Drop may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Some people find the bright light (such as daylight) uncomfortable for a few hours after receiving Tropicacyl Eye Drop which may affect your ability to drive.

If you miss a dose of Tropicacyl Eye Drop, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
