Wepex LB Tablet also contains beneficial bacteria that protect the inner layers of your stomach and intestines. This medicine can relieve frequent loose motions, that may occur as a side effect of this medicine, and also prevents them from coming back. It usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant. Drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Wepex LB Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Wepex LB Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cefpodoxime Proxetil and Lactobacillus. Cefpodoxime Proxetil is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Lactobacillus is a live micro-organism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.

UNSAFE - Wepex LB Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
CAUTION - Wepex LB Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Wepex LB Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Wepex LB Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
