In Treatment of Bacterial infections Xiotil Dry Syrup is a versatile antibiotic medicine that kills the infection-causing bacteria in your body. This medicine is used to treat many different types of infections such as those of the lungs (pneumonia), ear, abdomen, urinary tract, bones, joints, skin and soft tissues. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Vomiting, Abdominal pain, Diarrhea, Allergy']

Xiotil Dry Syrup is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. By doing so, this medicine stops the infection-causing bacteria from growing further and prevents the infection from spreading without making them resistant to further treatment.

Kidney

CAUTION - Xiotil Dry Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Xiotil Dry Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Xiotil Dry Syrup is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Xiotil Dry Syrup is recommended. However, consult your child's doctor before giving Xiotil Dry Syrup to your child in case of a severe form of liver disease.
