It can also give relief from allergic reactions after insect bites and symptoms of hives and eczema such as rash, swelling, itching, and irritation. This will improve the appearance of your skin and you may find that your mood and self-confidence improve as well. It rarely has any serious side effects and you may only need to take it on days you have symptoms. Moreover, Zedex-P Cold Syrup may make you feel less sleepy as compared to other antihistamine medicines. If you are taking it to prevent getting symptoms you should use it regularly to get the most benefit.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Fatigue, Dryness in mouth, Headache, Vomiting, Nasopharyngitis (inflammation of the throat and nasal passages)']

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Zedex-P Cold Syrup.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Zedex-P Cold Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Zedex-P Cold Syrup is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

UNSAFE - Zedex-P Cold Syrup may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

CAUTION - Zedex-P Cold Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Zedex-P Cold Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Zedex-P Cold Syrup is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver

CAUTION - Zedex-P Cold Syrup should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Zedex-P Cold Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor. However, the use of Zedex-P Cold Syrup is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If you miss a dose of Zedex-P Cold Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
