Check the label before use. Take the mouthwash in the quantity as advised by your doctor and put it in your mouth. Swish for 30 seconds to 1 minute and spit it. Do not swallow. Avoid eating, drinking, or smoking for at least 30 minutes after rinsing.

Emergel Mouth Wash is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that relieves mouth sores. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) which cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling) in the mouth.

Breast feeding

CAUTION - Emergel Mouth Wash should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

If you miss a dose of Emergel Mouth Wash, use it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
