Along with taking FERICIP XT TAB, include iron-rich foods like spinach, dates, organ meats like liver, iron-fortified cereals, etc. In Treatment of Anemia Anemia occurs when you do not have enough red blood cells or when your red blood cells do not function properly. One of the most common causes of anemia is a lack of iron in your body. FERICIP XT TAB prevents and treats anemia by improving the level of iron in the body. This helps reduce symptoms such as tiredness, weakness, reduced concentration, pale or yellow skin, brittle nails, dry hair, etc. Along with taking FERICIP XT TAB, include iron-rich foods like spinach, dates, organ meats like liver, iron-fortified cereals, etc.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. FERICIP XT TAB may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

FERICIP XT TAB is a combination of two nutritional supplements: Ferrous Ascorbate and Folic Acid which replenish the body's stores of important nutrients. Folic acid is a form of vitamin B. It plays a vital role in the formation of red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout the body. It is also essential in pregnancy due to its role in the development of the unborn baby's brain and spinal cord. Ferrous Ascorbate acts as a catalyst in various biochemical reactions in our body, facilitates transport and utilization of oxygen and helps in cell growth and proliferation. This improves the production of red blood cells and hemoglobin.

Pregnancy

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - FERICIP XT TAB is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - FERICIP XT TAB is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

Driving

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - It is not known whether FERICIP XT TAB alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney

Liver

If you miss a dose of FERICIP XT TAB, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
