This medicine works by preventing crystals from forming and reducing the levels of uric acid in your blood. This makes it less likely that you will suffer the symptoms and make them milder if you do have them. It is usually for long-term treatment and should be taken regularly until the dose is completed. In Treatment of Kidney stone Monitra Syrup helps to treat and prevent the formation of kidney stones. It inhibits stone formation and breaks up small stones that are beginning to form. This medicine helps to form a protective coating on the existing stones and helps prevent other particles from sticking to their surface and becoming bigger in size. Keep taking Monitra Syrup as prescribed to get the most benefit. Eat citrus-rich fruits such as lemons, oranges, etc., and drink adequate amounts of fluids to prevent the formation of kidney stones.

If you miss a dose of Monitra Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
