How it Works

How Alfuzosin and Tadalafil Work Benign prostatic hyperplasia is a noncancerous enlargement of the prostate gland. Alfuzosin and Tadalafil is a combination of two medications. Alfuzosin is an alpha blocker that relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder, allowing urine to flow more easily. Tadalafil improves the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia through an unknown mechanism, but it is believed to work by inhibiting an enzyme called phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE 5).

Side Effects

Common side effects of Alfuzosin and Tadalafil include headache, dizziness, upper respiratory tract infection, and fatigue.

You have been prescribed Alfuzosin + Tadalafil to relieve the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
Take it exactly as advised by your doctor.
To reduce the risk of feeling dizzy or fainting, rise slowly from a sitting or lying position.
This medication may cause dizziness or blurred vision.
Do not drive or engage in activities requiring concentration until you understand how it affects you.
Do not use Alfuzosin + Tadalafil if you have recently taken nitrates (medications used for angina or chest pain).
Avoid this medication if you have had a heart attack in the past 3 months, or a stroke or heart failure in the past 6 months.
