Uses

Oxetacaine, Aluminium Hydroxide, Magnesium, and Simethicone Uses Oxetacaine, Aluminium Hydroxide, Magnesium, and Simethicone are used in the treatment and prevention of acidity, stomach ulcers, and bloating.

How it Works

How Oxetacaine + Aluminium Hydroxide + Magnesium + Simethicone works Oxetacaine + Aluminium Hydroxide + Magnesium + Simethicone is a combination of four medicines: Oxetacaine, Aluminium Hydroxide, Magnesium, and Simethicone. Oxetacaine is a local anesthetic that provides fast relief from pain due to ulcers or acidic injury in the stomach due to its numbing effect. Aluminium Hydroxide and Magnesium are antacids that neutralize excess acid in the stomach. Simethicone is an antifoaming agent that disintegrates gas bubbles, allowing for the easy passage of gas.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Oxetacaine, Aluminium Hydroxide, Magnesium, and Simethicone include diarrhea, dizziness, and dementia.

Expert Advice

  • Oxetacaine + Aluminium Hydroxide + Magnesium + Simethicone helps treat acidity, stomach ulcers, and bloating.
  • Take it on an empty stomach, preferably 1 hour before a meal.
  • It may cause dizziness or drowsiness; use caution while driving or performing tasks that require concentration.
  • Dry mouth may occur as a side effect; frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake, and sugarless candy may help alleviate this.
  • Avoid consuming alcohol while taking Oxetacaine + Aluminium Hydroxide + Magnesium + Simethicone, as it can cause excessive drowsiness and increase your risk of stomach problems.
  • It may take 4-6 weeks or longer for the ulcers to heal completely.
  • Do not stop taking the medicine until your doctor advises you to do so.
  • Inform your doctor if you experience severe or long-lasting abdominal pain.
