Side Effects

Common side effects of Diphenhydramine, Ammonium Chloride, Terpin Hydrate, and Sodium Citrate include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, impaired coordination, sedation, inability to concentrate, irritability, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), tremors, diarrhea, dryness of the mouth, headache, fatigue, and blurred vision.

  • Diphenhydramine + Ammonium Chloride + Terpin Hydrate + Sodium Citrate relieves cough accompanied by mucus.
  • Drink extra fluids to help loosen congestion and lubricate your throat while taking this medication.
  • This medication may cause dizziness and sleepiness.
  • Do not drive or perform tasks that require mental focus until you know how it affects you.
  • If you are diabetic, monitor your blood glucose levels regularly while taking this medicine.
  • Inform your doctor if you have a history of thyroid or heart disease.
  • Stop taking Diphenhydramine + Ammonium Chloride + Terpin Hydrate + Sodium Citrate and inform your doctor if:
    • Your cough persists for more than 1 week.
    • Your cough tends to recur.
    • Your cough is accompanied by a fever, rash, or persistent headache.
