How Clobetasol, Neomycin, Miconazole, Zinc Oxide, and Borax work Clobetasol, Neomycin, Miconazole, Zinc Oxide, and Borax is a combination of five medicines: Clobetasol, Neomycin, Miconazole, Zinc Oxide, and Borax. Clobetasol is a steroid medicine that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause the skin to become red, swollen, and itchy. Neomycin is an antibiotic that inhibits bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required for the bacteria to perform vital functions. Miconazole is an antifungal that stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their protective covering. Borax and Zinc provide essential nutrients to the body.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Clobetasol, Neomycin, Miconazole, Zinc Oxide, and Borax include thinning of the skin, application site reactions (such as burning, irritation, itching, and redness), and dryness.
