Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer) that works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain. Caffeine enhances the effectiveness of paracetamol. Phenylpropanolamine is a sympathomimetic agonist that narrows blood vessels in the nose to relieve congestion.
