Vitiligo is an autoimmune skin condition characterized by white patches due to the loss of melanin, the pigment responsible for skin color. It results from the destruction of pigment-producing cells and can also affect the eyes, mouth, and nose. It often runs in families and typically begins before the age of 40.
Deca Peptide is considered safe when used as prescribed, with no reported side effects or contraindications. If you experience any adverse effects, consult your doctor immediately.
Apply Deca Peptide as directed by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin film of the lotion about 2 hours before bedtime. Avoid touching the treated area for an hour, and the next morning, expose it to bright sunlight for 10-15 minutes, or use ultraviolet lamps if sunlight exposure is not possible.
There is currently no complete cure for vitiligo. While some patches may disappear spontaneously, repigmentation is possible but complete resolution is rare.
Deca Peptide stimulates the growth of melanocytes, the cells that produce pigment, in hypopigmented areas. It enhances the migration of these cells to restore skin color.
Treatment duration varies based on individual response, which is generally faster in children or with recently developed patches. Initial re-pigmentation may appear in 3 to 6 months, while full re-pigmentation can take up to a year.
