How it Works

How Gabapentin and Lidocaine work Gabapentin and Lidocaine is a combination of two medications: Gabapentin and Lidocaine. Gabapentin is an alpha-2 delta ligand that reduces pain by modulating the calcium channel activity of nerve cells. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that blocks pain signals from the nerves to the brain, thereby decreasing the sensation of pain. Together, they relieve neuropathic pain, which is pain resulting from damaged nerves.

Common side effects of Gabapentin and Lidocaine include application site reactions such as burning, irritation, itching, and redness.
