Levocloperastine is used in the treatment of dry cough.

How Levocloperastine works Levocloperastine is an antitussive, or cough suppressant. It suppresses cough by reducing the activity of the cough center in the brain.

Common side effects of Levocloperastine include palpitations, dizziness, fainting, fatigue, headache, sleepiness, gastrointestinal disturbances, confusion, and numbness.

  • You have been prescribed Levocloperastine for the symptomatic relief of dry cough.
  • It is usually taken for a short duration, until the symptoms resolve.
  • Measure the syrup using a special dose-measuring spoon or cup, not a regular tablespoon.
